Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician and singer. Corr was first noticed in 1990 with The Corrs, a Celtic rock group The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland. She is a singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. She was awarded an award called the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is best known for being an integral member of The Corrs, a Celtic rock and pop group The Corrs. Andrea is the singer-lead of the group and performs on a variety of instruments. Andrea is a singer who made her debut acting professionally in the year 1991, then developed into an actor and stage artist. She sang the playback for Warner Bros.' 1998 animated feature film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted artist. She has six studio albums two compilation albums, two live albums, and one remix. She has been felicitated for her work in the field of charity too. Andrea along with her husband, a stockbroker, have two kids. Andrea started her musical lessons with the tin-whistle. She learned to perform the piano with the guidance of Gerry. Andrea also plays the ukulele. In her teens, she spent time learning to play the instrument. She started by singing with her brothers and sisters before becoming an eminent singer of the group. Andrea frequently performed in school's plays. She went to in Dun Lughaidh Convent.
